Pronunciation of vowels in Spanish

Hello everyone, welcome back to your channel "Learn Spanish with Ro". This time we are going to talk about the pronunciation of the vowels, in order to make it clearer we are going to make a differentiation between the vowels in Spanish and the vowels in English. Well, we know that in Spanish there are 5 vowels and 5 vowel sounds. In English there are 5 vowels, but there are 12 vowel sounds plus 8 diphthongs. Well, let's classify them as follows:
As we can see we have 3 sounds very similar to the letter A in Spanish; there are 3 in the letter E; 2 to the letter I; 2 to the letter O; and 2 more to the letter U. Well, let's make some examples with it.
For the letter "A", we have 3 sounds that are "æ", "ʌ" and "ɑ:" As in the words "Cat", "Cut" and "Cart". Well, if we make a direct comparison between each of these sounds with the letter A in Spanish, we have the following: "æ" "A" "æ" "A" "ʌ" "A" "ʌ" "A" "ɑ : "" A "" ɑ: "" A ".
